Simon King is a professional stand up comedian primarily active in the Vancouver, Seattle and Los Angeles comedy scenes.

He has an aggressive, intelligent and powerful style combining written material with stream of consciousness improvisation. He moves quickly from topic to topic ranging from politics, social interaction and human behavior all the way to the outright absurd.

Simon has been featured at comedy festivals including: The Vancouver International Comedy Festival, The TBS Las Vegas Comedy Festival and The HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. A veteran touring comic, he is a workhorse performer averaging nearly four hundred shows a year and an extremely prolific writer. In 2008 The Comedy Network and CTV filmed a one hour special starring Simon for the popular series Comedy Now.


[edit] Latest News

Uproar Entertainment produced Simon's first full length album UNFAMOUS in early 2010. It was recorded all in one take, no edits, at the Comedy Underground in Seattle. The album is currently in North American distribution as well as on Itunes. Tracks from UNFAMOUS are regularly featured on Sirius/XM satellite radio.

Simon continues to be extremely active as both a performer and writer.
