Riel is a regular stand up comic in Vancouver and has also performed in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Victoria and Bellingham. She was a featured performer on the New Faces Showcase at the Vancouver International Comedy Festival and placed 2nd in Vancouver’s Funniest New Female Comic competition.
As an improvisor she has played with several of Vancouver’s best known companies, as well as co-founding and performing with the Stretch Mouth’d Rascalls. She has been a featured performer with the No Name Players with Ryan Stiles, and a guest performer on Ellie Harvie’s improv night at Yuk Yuk’s.
Riel has hosted and emceed cabarets, music festivals, fashion and fundraising events and comedy performances and loves to charm a crowd.
She was once on Jerry Springer and doesn’t regret it for a moment.
