COMEDY @ THE KINGSTON is a weekly event that takes place THURSDAYS with the show beginning at exactly 9:30PM in the downstairs 'WrecRoom' at the Kingston Taphouse and Grille located at 755 Richards Street,(Between Georgia and Robson)
It is hosted and produced by Johnny Scoop and has fast become the coolest comedy room in town, boasting some of Vancouver's best comedians performing to a consistantly full house.
As of Feb 9/09 we have very successfully started OPEN MIC MONDAYS @ THE KINGSTON, a night designed for brand new comics, semi-established comics craving stage time as well as veteran comics both amateur and pro looking to hone their comedic skills or try new material.
Sign up begins at 7:30. Show starts at 8:30. First 15 comics signed up. 4 minute sets for amateurs.
Both nights are sponsored by Granville Island Brewing so you can expect a pretty good chance at winning some 'swag' which could include cases of GI beer, gift certificates, hats, T's, cooler bags, and jugs of beer etc.

The 'Wednesday Hump' Comedy @ The Kingston has been changed to COMEDY @ THE KINGSTON beginning Jan 8 as the weekly show now takes place THURSDAYS at 9:00, showcasing 4 of Vancouver's finest comics, a wildcard surprise, a professional MC and a headliner. By donation.
